About
Key success factor is
to connect and fully utilize SMART business resources in North America to proof
market potential, maximize revenue and profitability from specific APAC
regions. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing SMART’s presence
and business relationships in the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee product distribution
channel sales with focus on distributors and where appropriate key
resellers in APAC.
- Answer questions about product
and provide day to day operational support for distributors in the region
and assist them to navigate the different departments within SMART.
- Emphasize product features
based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of
product capabilities and limitations.
- Work with engineering, support,
and other SMART teams in North America to ensure
- required technical products
are fully certified for agreed markets
- required products are
translated for agreed markets
- appropriate support mechanisms
are built for each country/region
- Attend regular meetings, make
technical and other presentations and communications with distribution
teams in the region to ensure they understand and are trained on SMART’s
Go To Market (GTM), products, solutions, support strategies.
- As requested assist with
supporting SMART in-county teams with distribution GTM in Greater China
(China, Taiwan, Hong Kong) and Australia and New Zealand.
May work from home.
Travel up to 30%, including international travel. This position has no direct
reports. Reports to the Regional Manager, APAC.
Minimum
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
(U.S. or foreign) in Business, Marketing or closely related field.
Experience:
Two years of
experience in international channel or direct sales of information technology
products
Skills or Special
Requirements:
- Two years of sales experience
in at least three APAC countries
- Track record of exceeding
sales targets
- Sales presentations on
technical products
- Work with international
distributors
- Work with international
resellers
- Development of Go-to-Market
strategy for interactive technology products
